There will be no lessons on Thursday, September 7 or Friday, September 8 due to day-long faculty meetings.
There WILL be lessons on Saturday, September 9!

When I first started teaching at MacPhail Center for Music in 2000, our slogan was,

Welcome to the homepage for Cathy Smetana's piano studio at MacPhail Center for Music in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Cathy teaches in MacPhail's Suzuki Talent Education, Individual Instruction, and Group Instruction departments.
​Cathy also presents for piano teacher groups on topics such as performance anxiety and memorization, using pop music to teach music theory, successful lesson planning, and effective practice strategies.
